The Walk Has Begun Again Another good man has been struck with cancer! Someone once said, "Cancer comes like a thief in the night and robs us of our health, our future, our dignity and so much more if we let it. It tests our faith to the point that we ask why?" David Heydorn fought hard last year battling stage 4, level 3 Laryngeal (vocal chords) cancer. This is a Squamous cell cancer. Dave won that battle even with the loss of his vocal chords. His wife Clara and their children Shanna, Felicia, Tommy, and Rae were just as courageous and supported him all the way! All their lives were changed during the summer of 2009. They were ecstatic when Dave returned to work in November, 2009. Things were looking up for them until Dave was laid off in February, 2010. This means there is no insurance for Dave's medical bills. Dave has undergone several tests and biopsies since February. The last pet/ct scans in April 2010 showed several places that were suspicious on his lungs and lymphnodes next to the esophagus. Dave underwent surgery to determine what these were. Unfortunately they came back as Metastatic Squamous cell cancer from the Laryngeal cancer last year. We are asking for your help at this time.
